A Career at the YMCA
George began his professional journey in Jacksonville, where he assumed the role of an associate membership director. His career swiftly advanced as he embraced the challenge of program director and took on leadership positions in Tampa and Wichita. In Wichita, he oversaw the creation of a state-of-the-art health and wellness center, an achievement that taught him to think boldly and act purposefully. Each step enriched his understanding of community needs and strengthened his commitment to service. These diverse roles prepared him for the Newton YMCA, where he now drives community impact with innovation and care. His accomplishments continue to inspire his peers and colleagues. He thrives on continuous growth.

After years of diverse leadership roles, George returned to the YMCA with renewed energy and purpose.
